Hi doctor, I am male -42 year old. I have done a normal routine blood test as once in a year and found the following variances, in Platlet count and monocryetes.. for the Platelet the remark mentioning is Platelets: Appear reduced in smear. Macroplatelets are seen. Hi I did review your concern. Your blood counts are absolutely normal except that the platelets are low normal in range and that can be due to recent mild infection.
Macroplatelets indicates that they are regenerating. Just to be extra sure You can repeat the blood test with platelet count after 1 month and see the improvement.
